Julie Brown, whom I loved since her EP “Goddess in Progress” came out about 20 years ago, has rewritten the lyrics to her classic song, “The Homecoming Queen’s Got a Gun,” and turned it into a tribute to Sarah Palin.
From Julie’s website, you’ll find details on downloading the song.  Here’s what she had to say.
Last night I recorded my new version of “The Homecoming Queen’s Got A Gun!” called, “The Girl V.P.’s Got A Gun!” I’m doing my absolute best to take down the ever scary Sarah Palin. It was a blast and even though it’s hopefully going to be a song that’s only relevant for the next 5 weeks-then she’ll be gone! Hopefully. If there’s a God!
Julie was in the film, “Earth Girls are Easy” and recorded hits like “I like them big and stupid,” “Cause I’m Blonde,” and “The Homecoming Queen Has a Gun.” Her parody of Madonna’s “Truth or Dare” is classic comedy, and she nails Sarah Palin’s voice and accent in the song which debuted yesterday on the Stephanie Miller Show.

Is that a picture of Loretta?? I didn’t know she was running for VP.

More misogyny from the Democrats. Maybe you guys can win this thing, but at least now your hatred and fear of successful women is out in the open for all to see.
No, it’s just that “woman” and “successful” does not mean that all other considerations are ignored. You can be both and still be quite rightly criticized for being ignorant, incurious, and unaware of your own limitations.
But Julie Brown is both successful and a woman and, like Dan, I’ve been a fan for a long time. But she’s not qualified to be VP, even if she has been on the Universal backlot where they have sets representing almost every country in the world.
