At tonight’s Democratic Party of Orange County’s Central Committee meeting, Robin Marcario will announce that she is bowing out of the scheduled vote to endorse a second Garden Grove City Council candidate. She sent a short announcement to The Liberal OC and is expected to expand upon her comments below this evening.
“I am the first one to fight to preserve our neighborhoods, to speak out against the development of the Historical Main Street parking lot and oppose a monopolistic, Super-Walmart which destroys small business and living wage jobs, preventing them from building in Garden Grove, but I have chosen to withdraw from the endorsement process of the Democratic Party of Orange County as a sign of respect to our Vietnamese Community and for the sake of unification of our party in this critical election.”

In related news, The LiberalOC has confirmed today that Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (D) Garden Grove has endorsed Robin Marcario and Linh Ho for City Council in Garden Grove.
“…I have chosen to withdraw from the endorsement process of the Democratic Party of Orange County as a sign of respect to our Vietnamese Community and for the sake of unification of our party in this critical election.”
