While I am really looking forward to Senator Obama’s historic address to the Democrats at Mile High Stadium tonight, I frankly can’t wait for former Vice President Al Gore to address the corwd and discuss Global Warming.
Why?
Because the Register’s Mark Landsbaum (Global-Warming-is-a-Hoax) will be writing about it and working overtime to debunk Gore as an enviro-hypocrite and that mankind doens’t contribute to global warming.
Meanwhile, the Artic Ice is about to set a record for melt and dead spots in the Ocean continue to increase.Â

With three weeks to go in the Arctic summer, the record could still be broken, the Associated Press reports.
“We could very well be in that quick slide downward in terms of passing a tipping point,” said senior scientist Mark Serreze at the National Snow and Ice Data Center in Boulder, Colo. “It’s tipping now. We’re seeing it happen now.”
The center measured Arctic sea ice at about 2.03 million square miles. Last September was the low point since satellite measurements began in 1979: 1.65 million square miles.
The more ice that melts during summer, the less recovered in winter. The growing danger to the climate is that ice and snow reflect the sun’s heat but open water absorbs more heat. That speeds up warming elsewhere and raises ocean levels.
The money quote from a NASA scientist:
Within “five to less than 10 years,” the Arctic could be free of sea ice in the summer, said NASA ice scientist Jay Zwally. “It also means that climate warming is also coming larger and faster than the models are predicting and nobody’s really taken into account that change yet.”
I read in the Reg this is all a liberal myth. They also said day care was a socialist plot. Can u answer these hard questions?
