As I was saying this morning, the corporate media declared John McCain “the winner” of the weekend. But according to today’s Gallup tracking poll, he really isn’t. Check this out:
Obama 46%
McCain 43%
So what’s happening? McCain’s probably coming off of his “BEST. WEEK. EVAH.” He got to strut his “foreign policy street cred” with the Georgia crisis, his ads were saturating the entire country during the first week of the Olympics, & he was showered with praise from the media for his performance in Rick Warren’s McCain evangelical infomercial spectacular “Presidential Forum”. And he still can’t take the lead?
So what’s going on? Is McCain getting the short end of the stick? Or is this proof that McCain’s been artificially inflated by the media for far too long? Or are we all just paying too much attention to tracking polls, media pundits, and other political blogs?
OK, the floor’s now yours. Tell me what you think. Go for it! 😉
Funding raising wise, Obama netted $51 million in July to McCain’s $27 million.
I want to start all over. Both candidates are duds!
