Wow! So much for John McBush “putting California into contention”! Judging from the latest Field Poll, McBush doesn’t stand a chance.
Barack Obama’s opened a 24% lead statewide. He’s ahead in every region other than the Central Valley. Obama holds double-digit leads with BOTH men AND women. And best yet, Obama has a 9-1 lead among Democrats AND a 3-1 lead among Independents (aka “Decline-to-State voters”) while McBush struggles to maintain his GOP base.
So go ahead & take a look… But still realize that our work isn’t done! Just because California is safely & strongly blue for Obama doesn’t mean we can’t do more. Let’s make sure all that enthusiasm for Obama translates into downticket momentum for all our Democrats running! 🙂
