This from www.fivethirtyeight.com. President-elect Obama has 345 electoral college votes to McCain’s 193. These numbers based on state-by-state polling results from multiple sources aggregated to project a singel outcome.
Of course, this changes weekly and a lot can happen between now and election day.
Editor’s Note: The data from fivethirtyeight.com comes from http://3bluedudes.com/ProjectDatabase.htm which has an election projection database that combines projections from multiple sources.ÂÂ
Wow!
AOL’s goofy polls (spin?) has McCain 61% to Obama 39% …
What that means is Free Republic or something put up a call, had all their robot freepers make a “blogswarm” over to AOL at the same time. Us Obama supporters had better things to do today!
Can the “bots” flood a poll that requires entering a camoflaged anti-spam code? (aol’s does)
Or, are aol users more pre-disposed to McCain …
Or, some internal hanky-panky at aol?
Or?
No, I don’t mean “bots”, when I said “robot freepers” those are actual people – they walk amongst us. Some well-read site that they go to, like maybe Free Republic (that’s where “freeper” somes from) probably posted “Oh my God, everybody go vote on the AOL poll now for our Republican!” And the message gets forwarded around their community. That’s all. (Some days there’s leftwing blogswarms too.)
Hey, Kucinich was winning the Democratic nomination in online polls. Are you telling me they were not accurate and someone else might win?
