Democrats Unite for Obama

Hey, everyone! I got this over the weekend, and I wanted to share it with you. Now that we Democrats have Barack Obama as our nominee, it’s time for all of us to reunite as one big, happy family to do all we can to send him to the White House in November. Here’s something we all can do later this month. 🙂

Hello Everyone,

It goes without saying that this primary season has been historic in its importance, its energy, and of course the two AMAZING candidates for whom we worked so hard. It is with that thought in mind, that the Democratic Party of Orange County and Obama OC, the grass roots organizers in Orange County, will be hosting a Unity Rally/Bar B-Q.

The purpose of this event is to bring together everyone in Orange County that supports moving our country forward and making the changes that are so badly needed including:

1) END THE WAR ON IRAQ
2) Universal Healthcare
3) Education Reform
4) Immigration reform
5) Improve U.S. relations abroad
6) And so much more

Please note- we will be signing up volunteers at the Rally for the general election, as well as sharing our plan for the rest of the campaign in California. So, please come out and enjoy the FREE food, important speakers and company of your fellow supporters of our chosen nominee.

  1. Great post Andrew, glad you are so quickly on board. I was getting a little worried, but good to see you are also following the pennance we gave you and are working on promoting other Democrats’ campaigns. Although I had a feeling it would not be any trouble getting you to help other Dems. I will be at the picnic, maybe we can shake hands and be friends.

    It’s a deal! Just understand that I needed a little time to decompress and let go. When one’s been working tirelessly for a candidate only to lose, it’s painful.

    But as soon as Hillary jumped on board with Barack, I had to as well. And when she asked that I work as hard for him as I have for her, I made a promise to Hillary that I intend to keep.

    Just remember to be gracious and compassionate when dealing with other Hillary supporters right now. They’re in pain, but they will come home in time if we keep our arms and our hearts wide open.

    And yes, so long as no threads are hijacked… I love you. 😉

    Business as usual in the White House? Amazing.

    ps. Mr. Davey: Jobs = middle class/ union jobs ought to be in the top 3 on your list – imo.

    pps. President Clinton has hurt the American middle-class more than anyone in history – exporting American jobs to satisfy Wall Street GREED – (ie: NAFTA/ PNTR).

The Message, if you’re going to keep being a smug rub-it-in-your-face type, you should watch your spelling, it’s “penance.” Anyway you should SEE some of the nasty e-mails Andrew is still getting from his old Hillbot friends for being such a TRAITOR to switch to Obama. You thought Andrew was a fanatic, his old allies are SCARY!
