Day of Action
The Governor is balancing the state budget on the backs of working families by cutting education, health care, and public employees. There will be a rally to show that the middle class is worth investing in.
The rally will take place on Thursday, May 15th from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Plaza of the Flags – Civic Center, Santa Ana CA. For more information please contact Tim Steed at tsteed@oceamember.org.
Doheny Blues Festival
State Assembly candidate Judy Jones will give free tickets to the Doheny Blues Festival to hand out literature for herself and other Democratic candidates. The tickets are for Saturday May 17th and Sunday May 18th at the Dana Point Harbor. Bonnie Raitt will be the headliner on Sunday May 18th. The event is 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Campaign Kickoff for Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez
There will be a campaign kickoff party for Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez for her reelection to the 47th Congressional District. It will take place on Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ponderosa Park located at 2100 S. Haster St., Anaheim. Volunteer training will start promptly at 1:00 PM.
