OK, tomorrow is Mother’s Day. And while I’m not a mother myself, I love all the women in my life… Including my mom. And while we’re thinking about all the wonderful women in our lives, I have a simple request.
Can we all please give Hillary Clinton and the women supporting her some more respect? And can we please stop with the “Fatal Attraction” comparisons? I don’t care whether or not you support Hillary Clinton’s campaign, she’s a good Democrat who shouldn’t be trashed like this.
So please, next time you think of making some outlandish insult of Hillary Clinton… Think of your mom. Think of your sister. Think of your female coworker. Think of your female favorite next-door neighbor. And please, for Mother’s Day, don’t give into the Hillary-bashing.

I’m sorry you took my request as “disrespect”. I didn’t mean for it to be. In fact, I have many women friends who are honored to be compared to such a smart, beautiful, compassionate. soulful woman like Hillary Clinton. 🙂

Good point, Captain. I’m sure your mother is seems unaccomplished and boring by comparison, but I’ve little doubt that she’s a fine person in her own simple way.

I agree about trashing her just for being a woman is a low blow and childish.
However, I can’t call someone who voted for the war (and has refused to say that was a mistake), is pro-censorship, is for the Cuba embargo, believes flag burning should be illegal, voted for the Patriot Act, and is against same-sex marriage is a “Good Democrat”.
