I was asked to post this press release from the OC Vietnamese Democratic Club today.
While some Orange County Republicans have been talking, the Orange County Vietnamese Democratic Club has been working to get out the vote for the Tuesday February 5th Presidential Primary.
Today the Vietnamese Democratic Club is hosting another phone bank to remind Vietnamese Democrats to vote. The phone bank will start this afternoon at 4:30 pm at 10517 Garden Grove Blvd in the City of Garden Grove.
Since its inception, the Vietnamese Democratic Club has been actively working to inform the Vietnamese Community about the Democratic principles of a solid education, human rights, health care, and a strong economy.
Last February 2nd Vietnamese Democratic Club leaders Trung Ta and Hoa Tran walked the Little Saigon business district to stump for Senator Hillary Clinton. Trung Ta has been extremely active in supporting Hillary Clinton and has traveled to Nevada to energize Vietnamese voters there. Trung Ta has also been working with Attorney Hoa Tran, Dr. Kim Oahn Nguyen Lam, and other Vietnamese Democrats by phone banking helping to build a base of support for Senator Clinton. Trung Ta has also been working with the API community at the Hillary Clinton office in Los Angeles to help energize Asian American voters. Additionally, on February 4th Hoa Tran and Trung Ta attended The Solutions for America Rally with former President Bill Clinton at Santa Ana College.
Attorney and Army Veteran Hoa Tran is running for the 1st District Supervisorial District. In late January Hoa Tran gave a rousing speech at the Letter Carriers Union Hall in Garden Grove for Senator Clinton. He will be opening up a campaign office for his Supervisors Race at 9741 Bolsa Ave. Suite 210 in Little Saigon.
Additionally Attorneys Do Phu and Hoa Tran have been hosting a weekly Democratic Talk Show to let the Vietnamese community know how Democrats are working to improve this country and to fix the mistakes of the past seven years.
If you have any questions call Attorney Do Phu at the Vietnamese Democratic Club at 714-638-8272.
