The LA Times reported a series of endorsements for each candidate; under the Romney file, Matthew Cunnigham , editor of the RedCounty.com blog. This is extraordinary for two reasons: 1. Red County doesn’t have an endorsement on their own pages and 2. A blogger’s endorsement somehow means something.

There is no “Red County” endorsement. There never has been. Individual Red County bloggers have their own preferences. Tomahawk is supporting McCain, for example. Last I checked, Scott Graves was undecided but leaning toward Romney. Tracy Price, the primary investor in this enterprise, had been a long time Giuliani backer, as had another Red County investor Chip Hanlon.
The Times asked me a few days ago who I was going to vote for. When I decided it would be Romney, I let them know. That’s pretty much all there is to it.
2. A blogger’s endorsement somehow means something.
