One of the Campaigns strengths is the use of the media to illustrate a point about the disparity in coverage. I watched the New Hampshire returns and barely heard his name. I listened to NPR and even though he got 17% of the vote, he got 2 minutes out of 60 minutes of coverage.
I listen to KTLK most of the day on and off and right now the only host who is talking about Edwards is Thom Hartmann. Well, Randi Rhodes did mention Edwards yesterday, but she had to throw in the phrase “white guy” in the process. Really. I listened to Wendell on the way home and almost ripped my radio out of my car.
He was talking about Nevada and Obama and Clinton, that was it. He spoke of the Culinary Union and how Obama and Clinton were in the running for their endorsement. Really, it was more about Obama and Edwards and the CU did not allow members to vote, it was based on a vote by the board.
So, as the black out continues, the Edwards campaign takes a poke at the coverage of the debate and proves it’s point brilliantly.
I feel your pain. But, let’s remember to donate tomorrow!
I just did my part to try and raise $7 million in one day for Edwards. Have you?

Today I put $100 towards a better America. Via John Edwards.
Thanks Michael, that’s what I am doing today 🙂 Every little bit and big bit count and to me, $100 is a BIG BIT 🙂
