Upstart Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul received a $500 donation from a white supremecist and Paul has no intention on returning it. Don Black who runs the racist website called Stormfront recently made the donation to Paul according to campaign filings.
According to Black, “We like his stand on tight borders”. Black also cited Paul’s opposition to amnesty for illegal immigrants as well. It is these positions that have made Paul one of the favorites among the immigrant bashing crowd along with Tom Tancredo.
Black, whose groups motto is “White Pride World Wide”, describes himself as a “White patriot” and said, “On the issues, there’s only one choice”. Clearly for Black and his fellow racists that choice is Ron Paul.
Paul’s campaign has been seen by most folks as a grassroots populist movement. However Black’s support shines a bright light onto the type of folks that Paul’s message actually appeals to. Much has been made about his fundraising and his stance on the Iraq war, but his immigration policies have largely been ignored by the mainstream media.ÂÂ
Black’s support for Paul now means that 3 Republican campaigns have accepted support from anti-immigrant race baiters. Last week Jim Gilchrist endorsed Mike Huckabee and Tom Tancredo is surrounded by immigrant bashers.
It looks like Black and Paul share many of the same beliefs as some of those in the group of folks opposing Measure D. Perhaps they should hit up Black for a donation as well. I am sure that their campaign could use the funds. Just let the “usual suspects” make the pitch and I am sure Black would be more than happy to write the check.

Liberal OC Bloggers, Stanley Fiala and his crazy profanity-laced responses are going to bring down the quality of this fine blog.
Great! Fiala is already posting anonymously. Is this blog going to start going downhill from here as well? I hope not.
Tying white supremists, Ron Paul and Santa Ana Sal’s Measure ‘D’ together is a reach even for a booted out ex-juicer!
Why you would muck up a post with your venom for those who oppose you and Sal should be questioned by those who run this blog.
If you want to keep complaining about OJ why do it here? There are too many good posts on this site to read this drivel.
If I want all things Santa Ana, I’ll go to OJ not LiberalOC!
Just asking,
There are plenty of posts about things outside of Santa Ana on this site. Feel free to skip over my posts if you don’t want to read them.
I have not complained about the OJ once on this blog. Perhaps you should reread the posts you are complaining about and see that for yourself.
As far as me being a member of this blog all I know is that our numbers have increased since I came on board. You may not like reading what I have to say but clearly some folks do.
Please re-read my post. I did not say I didn’t like reading this blog, I just don’t want to waste time here reading about your problems with Art P.
The Paul campaign and supremists were a real issue. I only questioned why you try to bring it around to Santa Ana issues and measure D. Measure D is a joke that did not take any of the commissions recomendations into account. It is akin to the President ignoring 9/11 reports!
See how odd it is when we jump from National to Santa Ana issues. I think you have written a lot of provocative posts in the past. Since your return from Mexico you’ve been off your game. Hope you return to your old style.
