Did you miss World AIDS Day last weekend? Would you like to do something to help people here in the community who are living with HIV/AIDS? And would you also like to hear from community leaders about what’s being done to help HIV positive people? Well, then you should join OC Young Democrats on Sunday at 2:00 PM for a very special rally.
From the DFA-OC calendar:
Please Join the Orange County Young Democrats at the Plaza of the Flags in Santa Ana’s Civic Center Plaza for a rally to benefit the Orange County AIDS Services Foundation. The Orange County Young Democrats will be hosting a food drive as well as raising awareness in recognition of World AIDS Day. Speakers include United States Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, as well as other state and local officials. If you have any questions, please contact Mitch Star at 949-586-5858 or send an email to Mitch@ocyd.net . We look forward to seeing you there.
Invited guests include Assm. Jose Solorio (D-Santa Ana) and State Sen. Lou Correa (D-Santa Ana), and Santa Ana City Council Member Michele Martinez will also be coming to speak. And if you can, please bring canned food and toiletry items for AIDS Services Foundation. This will go a long way to help HIV positive people in need during this Holiday Season.
So can you come join us? Can you join us in learning about what can be done about this real public health problem? And can you help us make a difference for all these people in need. Great, I’ll see you on Sunday.
