  1. WOW! This is amazing! I’m so humbled to have the privilege to write for THE #1 BLOG IN CALIFORNIA (according to BNN)! 🙂

  2. Surprising achievement in the heart of Red County. Kudos to the team for building a growing network. Great job.

Only BNN knows for sure, but this is what they tell us.

BNN’s California Blogosphere Influence Rating combines a variety of data sets to determine which blogs are most powerfully influencing the direction of the California political blogosphere. The exact method BNN uses to calculate influence scores must remain proprietary in order to prevent attempts to game the system. BNN’s methodology takes into account the fact that all Internet data is profoundly limited in its reliability by using multiple data sets that, when combined, reveal a fair picture of activity in the blogosphere.

  4. I can only surmise that the rest of the state is pretty boringÂ…

Maybe you’re right, Art. I’ve been checking the out-of-OC blogs this morning. And other than the huge budget battle in Sacramento, there’s really nothing else happening. Or if there is, it’s not generating much debate. I guess we’ve all become accustomed to the continual lively discussion on all our fine local blogs here in OC. 🙂

  5. Just a quick note commending the entire Liberal OC team for this recognition. And now you are on the spot. It’s tough staying king of the hill.
Raising the bar, to remain on top, is a challenge extended to each of you.

  6. You’re killing us, Larry! 😉

OK, OK, just kidding. I HAD to say that! But anyways, I think we’ve all been working our hardest to not only meet our personal standards of excellence… But BEAT THEM! I think that’s how The Liberal OC made it to #1, and I’ve been so happy to be along for the ride for the last two and a half weeks.

Oh yes, and if you think we’ve been good right now… YOU AIN’T SEEN NOTHIN’ YET! 🙂

  7. As a Republican I love your anti spam word selection.

Be careful not to break an arm patting yourselves on the back. You need both hands to truly use your keyboard writing stories.

It’s good to have a friendly exchange with those from across town, wherever you are.

Larry Gilbert who will now give is keyboard the afternoon off.
