Molly Ivins Dies; Spoke Truth to Power

I’m heartbroken.  We’ve lost a wonderful common sense voice who was never afraid to speak truth to power.  Molly Ivins is dead of breast cancer at 62.  Godspeed Molly.

  1. I am doubly heartbroken.

    First, as a writer, her wit and observation was humorous and on target.

    Second, as a Breast Cancer survivor myself, I am reminded how viceral this disease is.

    She is probably raising hell with St Peter right now.
