 
This great letter to the editor in today’s OC Register describes my thoughts quite well. The voters of the 2nd district, in their infinite wisdom, chose this guy to be one of the five Supervisors running our county. Folks, the sky really is falling and the guy who claims to have predicted the largest municipal bankrupcty in U.S. history now thinks it is a great idea to do business again with the same people who helped us achieve that milestone.
Dodge the bull
Supervisor John Moorlach now pronounces that Merrill Lynch is the good guy, and the deputy sheriffs are the thugs. Amazing. This reminds me of when Groucho Marx ran a scam and told his intended victim, “Who are you going to believe, me or your own two eyes?” He should heed the advice of Supervisor Tom Wilson, about the “almost permanent damage” that Merrill Lynch did to the county and reconsider his vote.John Mauger

Say what you will about his other policies, but Moorlach should be commended for standing up to this wasteful, crooked sheriff. He needs yet another personal lawyer at taxpayer expense? For what? Oh yeah. The chick issue. This Mike Carona character is someone out of a 50s bad cop novel especially when you combine all his other bad habits with the nimpho traits. You know things are bad when LA cops think of the OCSD and laugh, laugh, laugh. It’s true. And very sad.
Perhaps he got that right, but Moorlach is now screwing over OC taxpayers by bringing Merill Lynch back into the game…
Now he wants to bring back the company that helped the county fall into bankruptcy…
Sorry, but I just call that BONE-HEADED.
