  1. Correa is still down by 13 votes with all precincts counted. I suspect that those last 16 were zero voter areas – commercial or industrial plots without residences.
    In any case the fun starts once more in just a few hours.
    There are still tens of thousands of ballots to be counted countywide – absentees and provisionals.
    Tomorrow the County Registrar begins signature verifying all of the absentee ballots that were received on election day – either at a polling place or in Tuesday’s mail. After those are done, they process provisional ballots.
    Fun times.
    Maybe someday I’ll finally go to law school and be paid decently for this arcane knowlege of CA election law.
