Just a brief observation since I was grounded by my doctor.
If anyone looked at the Time Magazine I found the section on 300 million Americans interesting. I have a thing for maps and there was one of those red-purple-blue maps on how America Votes. It was nice to see how purple the country was overall, but low and behold – expecting to see a red spot on the coast apx between LA and San Diego Countys… NO!! Orange County is purple!!!
A slight degree more reddish between north and south but purple nonetheless. That is probably because in sheer numbers, Democrats in Orange County comprise the third largest voting block of Democrats in the State of California. Yes, the percentages are ugly for us and the redistricting is downright atrocious, but we are purple – how about powerful purple? When Democrats get out to vote in OC, Democrats win Statewide.
I have definately enjoyed seeing Frank make some TV time and overall the news coverage has been great. I daresay, the Donkey may have kicked the proverbial Elephant in the you know whats! No wonder they are shreeking.
On a personal note: Thank you all for your love and support. The “twins” are fine but I won’t be auditioning them for work in the valley anytime soon (ha ha).
It is great to know I am finishing the chapter on my life with breast cancer at the end of October and moving forward to my current chapter of being cancer free for 18 months.
I recieved a limited release from my doctor so I can do some catch up and make some noise too. See you soon!
Always knew that OC wasn’t as Republican as people want us to believe.
Glad to see some real evidence of that.
Hope you’re well soon, Susan!
Is there a link for that? I want to see it too!
Oh, and I hope you’re feeling better, Susan. Get well soon! : )
Try time.com
last week’s issue – if not I will try to save – maybe Chris will teach me how to upload.
Google “purple Nation” and you will find some images.
I could not find the image on Times website that you were talking about Susan.
However…
This is the address to an image I found. Cut and paste into your browser.
