Riding on the Metro(link)

I found this article in the Orange County Register this morning: Free Metrolink rides Sunday for passengers leaving from Fullerton.

Something to think about is that the current Measure M helps provide Metrolink service for Orange County and a renewed Measure M would allow for even more Metrolink service. Commuter trains even benefit non-Metrolink users by taking cars off of our freeways.

This promotion was planned to help introduce Orange County’s expanded weekend service. To get more information call: 1-800-371-LINK or visit www.metrolinkweekends.com.

  1. yes please! the metrolink rocks, i’m a frequent rider and, knowing i’d have a rail line handy, was one of the reasons for my buying a house in old town orange. if there’s someplace you’d like to go along the line, i can highly reccommend using metrolink rather than get on the freeway.

go people. it’s better. trust me.

  2. metrolink is great! except for parking. irvine and tustin stations are chronically overcrowded for parking. unless you get to the station before 7:00, there are literally no spaces at all. i really hope measure m will be able to fund some additional parking spaces.
