The most comprehensive tiemline of statements of the Bush Administration in rgeards to the War in Iraq; in my chats with my conservative friends, they are steadfast that the administration didn’t lie, but that they had bad intelligence — the same intel thta Clinton had (which is an odd defense considering how much President Clinton is hated by the right).
So rather than call members of this administration liars, I will prefer to state that they were wrong in the assumptions on how the war would progress.
