The list gets longer

With the help of Art Pedroza from The Orange Juice blog, I can expand the list of OC politicos that are salivating at the opportunity to run for the 1st district’s Board of Supervisor’s seat:

  • Janet Ngueyn – Republican Garden Grove City Councilmember
  • Carlos “Bubba Gump” Bustamante – Republican Santa Ana City Councilmember
  • Tim Whitacre – GOP leader and Santa Ana activist
  • Tom Umberg – Democrat State Assemblymember that is termed out in January.
  • Ken Maddox – Republican Assemblymember formerly served the 68th District
  • Joe Dunn – Democrat State Senator that is termed out in January
  • Mark Rosen – Democrat Garden Grove City Councilmember
  • Tom Daly – Orange County Clerk/Recorder

    This kind of stuff is what makes following politics so much fun. It’s kind of like picking your players for a fantasy football league. “Well, Joe Dunn would take out Bustamante in a heartbeat, but I’d really like to see Nguyen and Dunn face off.”
