Kooky mom, Stephanie Erickson has an agenda: to stop all agendas.
She’s spent a lot of time hanging out at the Westminster School Board meetings to complain about special interests seeping into Westminster schools. In 1998, this Republican ran a failed campaign for a board seat there, and she has since been a pretty vocal parent.
Back when the Westminster School Board redefined their anti-discrimination policies to be uniform with the State’s, Erickson was out saying the “homosexual agenda†was finding its way into the classroom.
The Serrach posted at his blog about a funny Erickson quote in the Los Angeles Times where she is talking about the dramatic hiring/firing of Kimoanh Nguyen-Lam. Now Erickson is grumbling about the scary Vietnamese and Hispanic agendas. [link]
But what is funny is that Erickson found The Serrach’s post (apparently by googling her own name), and sent him an email that he dissects and publishes for us all to see. Here’s my favorite paragraph:
The fact that Latinos and Vietnamese have been attending board meetings pertaining to the superintendents position (tin foil hat alert) leads me to believe that maybe there are people in this district or on the board that know Dr. Lam and are working together to promote a hispanic-vietnamese agenda that does not represent 100 percent of all WSD students.
She’s right, Vietnamese and Hispanic students don’t make up 100% of the districtâ€â€only 71%. Oh, the nerve of these non-white people. Oh, the nerve!
[Erickson’s letter @ The Serrach]
funny stuff there, now we sit back and wait for stephanie’s otra zapato to drop.
I can’t believe Vietnamese and Latinos even interact with each other! Don’t they have a language barrier or something?
