Novak: Rove was his source for the Plame leak

Syndicated Columnist Robert Novak, revealed in his column on Tuesday July 11, 2006 that Karl Rove was indeed his source for the outing of Ambassador Joseph Wilson’s wife, Valerie Plame, as a CIA agent in 2003.

President Bush said in June 2004 that he would fire anyone in his administration shown to have leaked information that exposed the identity of Wilson’s wife, Valerie Plame.

My guess is that the President will not fire his brain.

Leaking the name of a covert CIA operative involved in investigating Iran’s nuclear capabilities is patriotic, but leaking news of illegal CIA prisons where torture is condonedin America’s name or leaing detials of illegal surveillance programs that spy on Americans telephone calls and banking records is not
