A 46-year-old registered sex offender who allegedly kept a “huge stash†of child pornography in his Fullerton home was charged today with possessing child porn and sexual exploitation of a child, court records show. I know of a great criminal defense attorney named R. (Bob) Shawn Nelson

“The more we get off our plate now, the less we have to deal with;†Nelson said. “I’m ready to make individual cuts as we go through the departments, or at least provide policy decisions because at some point I think there is going to be a will of the Council to – I can make something up but, the Park and Rec. department I know is one that I’ve seen the 10% cut, I don’t support, I know that I can find far more than that in other departments, but we have to go through it to get there.â€
In his day job, Shawn Nelson is a criminal defense attorney. It is an admirable profession, defending those accused of crimes, regardless of their guilt or innocence. This is a core function of our American system of justice. Without criminal defense attorneys, our system simply does not work.
Shawn Nelson was cited on September 3, 2003, March 19, 2008, and March 23, 2009 for driving in excess of 65 miles per hour. I wonder if we should have a three strikes law that includes speeding. Go Speed, Go!
