On Tuesday the City of Irvine extended the camping permit for the OccupyOC-Irvine patriots for two weeks. The encampment at City Hall has generally complied with the agreement that has been in place for a couple weeks.

After winning their trial against the City of Santa Ana concerning the City’s amendment of the Development Agreement between the City and Mike Harrah for the One Broadway Plaza project, the Coalition for Accountable Government Ethics (CAGE) has been awarded attorneys fees of $130,538.

UPDATED Request denied. For some, the idea of allowing the Occupy OC patriots in Santa Ana the ability to camp overnight in the Civic Center should be a no-brainer for the City Council. After all, if Irvine can do it, why can’t Santa Ana? As with most things civic, it’s not that simple.
