Jamison Power Announces Westminster School Board Campaign

Jamison Power, an attorney and Orange Public Library Foundation Board member, has announced his campaign for a seat on the Westminster School District Board of Trustees. Jamison is currently a practicing attorney with the Newport Beach law firm Hewitt Wolensky LLP. Jamison Power has received the endorsements of numerous OC elected officials.

Anaheim City Council Says No To Charter Amendment Preventing Future Tax Subsidies

Last night the Anaheim City Council chamber was packed with opponents and supporters of the $158 million Bed-Tax giveaway to see if the Council would place the deal on the ballot for voters to accept or reject. City Attorney Christina Talley advised the Council that such a referendum could be legally challenged, if it specifically sought to overturn the agreement that had been executed.

Campaign Against Costa Mesa Charter Begins

Last night the Costa Mesa City Council voted to place Righeimer’s Folly, a Charter Initiative to grant unrestrained power to the current Council majority, on the ballot in June. Immediately following the council meeting, the opposition launched its campaign to fight back for the residents of Costa Mesa.
