Years ago, I stopped sending clients gifts at the Holidays. Instead, I made a contribution in their names to my favorite charity — Anaheim’s Eli Home. Lorri Galloway has retired and turned the reins over to her daughter Tami Bradford. I’d get a personalized letter to send to clients and it talked about the families the Eli Home helps. During client calls, our direct contacts would often say it was the best gift they’ve ever received from a business partner. And many of these contacts would seek out charities in their HQ cities for their companies to make a donation.
