OC Democratic friends are mourning the passing of longtime DPOC Vice Chair Dr. Emma Jeanette Burns, a longtime Anaheim resident who relocated to San Diego to care for a family member. She’ll be remembered for her passion, her strength, her fairness, her ability to forgive and her powerful voice for Democratic values when this county was deep red. She was a woman of deep faith, strong family values, and was an inspiration for many of us lucky enough to work with her on the Central Committee.

“The message is food for thought which each of us is needed to survive this troubled time. This world is going through a change which hatred has surpassed caring for the fellow man. Pass this message to everyone you know for this country is in a dangerous position. May God Bless.”
