Maury brings a lifetime of experience leading in mission driven organizations. Now, he’s leading Braver Angels’ mission to build capacity for civic engagement. Our guiding vision is: “… an America where courageous citizenship is the honored norm, renewing civic culture, and building trust across political differences.” Everyone is welcomed.

Braver Angels’ alliances work to support activities and conversations across differences in our communities. Our free workshops build skills, address issues, engage in productive debate, and build understanding with each other.
As we come to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence’s call for “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”, we need leaders and community members to help us engage with each other at a time when our country feels so broken.
