Giovanni Chavez announces run for the Santa Ana City Council

I’m Running for Santa Ana City Council Ward 6!

I am excited to announce my candidacy for Santa Ana City Council Ward 6. Our city is the heart of Orange County, and together we will make Santa Ana affordable, safe, and accessible. Santa Ana is a city built by working families seeking the American dream.

As the son of immigrants, my parents instilled in me the value of hard work, treating your neighbors with respect and dignity, and giving back to your community. From a college student to an attorney representing workers, I am blessed to represent the values my parents instilled in me. As an attorney, I’ve fought for tenants facing evictions, union members seeking better wages, employees facing wage theft, and accident victims dealing with life-altering injuries. As your Councilmember, I will continue fighting for working families every day.

Our city faces incredible challenges but also incredible opportunities. We must address the rising cost of living, make housing affordable for all, keep our communities safe, and invest in jobs that allow families to live and work in Santa Ana. On the council, my focus will be tackling the affordability crisis, investing in our community, building affordable housing, and keeping our neighborhood safe.

This campaign is a grassroots team effort. We are a campaign built by neighbors, students, and residents committed to the future of our city. Together we can fulfill the promise of Santa Ana. Please join me in this movement to make Santa Ana affordable, safe, and accessible to all!
