CYPRESS, CA – Labor Leader and former Democratic Party of Orange County Chair Ada Briceño reached a significant milestone on Thursday as a powerful new endorsement from State Senator Jesse Arreguín rounded out an impressive endorsement list of 20 current and former California State Elected Officials.
The son and grandson of farm workers, Senator Arreguín was elected to the Berkeley City Council in 2008 and went on to serve as the first Latino and youngest person elected Mayor of Berkeley in a century. He currently chairs the Public Safety Committee in the California State Senate. In making public his endorsement of Ada Briceño, Senator Jesse Arreguín stated: “Ada Briceño doesn’t just talk about change—she builds movements that make it happen.
