BUENA PARK, CA – Fundraising reports show Connor Traut, candidate for Orange County’s 4th Supervisorial District, has raised more new money than both his opponents in the race combined. Traut’s campaign reports $103,992 raised this reporting period, bringing his cash on hand to $201,699, as of June 30, 2025.

Connor Traut released the following statement regarding the fundraising reports:

This campaign has always been about putting Orange County residents first, and ensuring our communities have a leader fighting for them. I’m proud of the momentum we’ve built and I’m ready for the work ahead to create a brighter, safer, and more affordable future for everyone.”

ABOUT CONNOR TRAUT
Connor Traut is a local Vice Mayor, attorney, father, and fourth-generation Orange County resident.

Connor was elected to the Buena Park City Council in 2018 by the largest margin of victory in the city’s history. He served as Mayor of Buena Park from 2020 to 2021. Connor previously served as an elected School Board Trustee for the Centralia Elementary School District from 2014 to 2018.

Professionally, Connor works as a consumer protection trial attorney. Connor currently serves as a board director of the Orange County Fire Authority and as a board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central OC. Connor’s previous community service includes work as an Orange County Juvenile Justice Commissioner and Judicial Law Clerk for the Orange County Superior Court, and board leadership of the Police Officers’ Honorary Association, Cops for Kids, Head Start, Arts Council, and Eli Home Shelters for Abused Children.

Connor earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science and a law degree from Chapman University. Connor and his wife Cheyenne, an elementary school teacher and doctoral candidate, reside in Buena Park with their son, Calum, and two goldendoodles.
