Democratic Party of Orange County Debuts New Official Podcast, “Downballot Download,” and the first episode features Chair Florice Hoffman
The DPOC debuted an exciting new media venture this week, the “Downballot Download” – the official podcast of the DPOC, hosted by Executive Vice Chair Lauren Johnson-Norris. The podcast offers a fresh, local, and uniquely OC perspective on politics featuring conversations with candidates, elected officials, and special guests all telling their stories and showcasing a slice of life behind the “Orange Curtain.”
The first episode features DPOC Chair Florice Hoffman and goes in-depth on what it means to be chair of a large county party, her personal journey from attorney to activist to activist to candidate to chair, remembering her previous campaigns, how Democratic policies have improved lives and what she’s learned from a lifetime in politics as a lesson for candidates, activists, and everyone in between.
