The Eli Home in Anaheim is my favorite charity and there’s news there. Long time leader Lorri Galloway is retiring and she’s being succeeded by her daughter Tami Bradford.
Here’s how Galloway announced the news on social media.
Dear Family and Friends,
Being the Executive Director and co-founder of The Eli Home for the past 41 years has been a joyful journey!
It is with a grateful heart and optimism for the future of The Eli Home for Abused Children that I announce my retirement as Executive Director on February 1st, 2025. With the unanimous support of the Board of Directors, I am handing over the E.D. leadership to our daughter, Tami Bradford, who has grown up knowing and loving The Eli Home and its anointed work. I won’t be far; I am set to join the Board of Directors as its Chair.
Tami is a perfect blend of her father and mother. She has Michael’s linear mind; great with math and science and has a degree in bio-molecular science. She worked in genetics for a while. Also, she has her mom’s heart of service, faith in God, and love of people. Tami decided that working with test tubes just didn’t compare to the work of The Eli Home.
Thank you for blessing my life with your love, support, and friendship. May God bless you and yours and may He keep you safely in His arms.
Ever grateful,
Lorri
So happy retirement Lorri and break a leg Tami,
Thank you, Dan! Your generous support through the years has been so very appreciated! Love to your dear family.
Always,
Lorri
