Don’t look now, but there’s a barn burner for the second spot in CA45. Kim Nguyen Penaloza has closed the gap between her and Derek Tran and trials to just 39 votes.
Tran is at 18,792 while Kim is at 18,753. This is OC only https://ocvote.gov/results/current-election-results
Still hard to gauge how many votes are left to count. Tran had a sizable lead on primary day but Kim has gained considerable ground since.
You are only reporting (dishonestly?) the Orange County portion of CD-47. Tran has a more significant lead in the LA County portion. While the numbers have tightened, they have not tightened to the extent you claim.

Fine, it has closed to 249 votes when the first results had it at 1729. LA County has been slightly trending her way as well. Still 9600 left to count in OC based on Derek’s own “Stan’s” admission in X so I would not want to be Derek right now. Kim definitely in the catbird seat.

We need someone like Kim Nguyen Penaloza who will champion women’s rights. Michelle Steel has a miserable voting record in Congress! I don’t think it can be Kim’s main topic due to the constituent base, but we can count on Kim to do the right thing.
