Costa Mesa, Calif. — To recognize outstanding veterans in Orange County and in recognition of Veterans Day, the Orange County Veterans Democratic Club is hosting its 1st Annual Veterans of the Year Luncheon on November 10th at 12:00 PM at The Center Club Orange County in Costa Mesa.

Honorees include Orange County-based California Senator and former U.S. Army officer Josh Newman, founder of ArmedForce2Workforce and Committee member on the California State Senate Military and Veterans Affairs Committee; Wound Walk founder Michael Sean Wright; and 46th Congressional District Aide and Marine and combat veteran Jose Guevara, who will receive the OCVDC Veteran of the Year Award for more than a decade of service and leadership in veterans affairs at the county, local and federal level.
