So I’m browsing through the SmartVoter profile for the pedophilia promoting Santa Ana Unifed School District Trustee candidate Art Pedroza and I see that he has been endorsed by three high ranking Santa Ana elected officials. According to the profile that Pedroza has posted on the LWV SmartVoter site, he has been endorsed by Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido, and City Council members Sal Tinajero and Michelle Martinez.
Now I know that Art Pedroza has been jumping through hoops to paint a picture that Miguel Pulido can do no wrong, and that suddenly, in spite of his years of vocal criticism, all is well in Santa Ana. But really, Pedroza? For School Board? Why would Miguel Pulido want to inflict such a damaging character upon the students of the SAUSD?
Art Pedroza, who did manage to get more votes than former Orange Unified School District Trustee Steve Rocco in his 2008 City Council bid, is by any measure far more unhinged than Rocco could ever be.
For those visiting Art Pedroza’s SmartVoter page, I would like to point out that Art Pedroza does not meet the the legal definition to claim to be a teacher. He is a part-time lecturer at Cerritos college. Teacher is not his primary occupation.
Word is Pulido hasn’t endorsed and will ask Art to remove this endorsement. So either it’s an embarrassment for the Mayor or one for Pedroza. Why would any elected official endorse this guy?
I don’t think that Pedroza ever apologized to Pulido for his expressed desire that the Mayor of Santa Ana should be murdered by Mexican criminals. I seriously doubt that Pulido would support that nutter.
Well if that is the case then I will be happy to publish a statement from the Mayor expressing that he has not endorsed, and will not be endorsing, Art Pedroza for school board.
First of all Chris, please stop libeling me. It is one thing to disagree with me, although for the record we are in agreement on just about every issue that matters to progressives, but to publish outright lies about me just makes you look bad. Your readers know better.

The Smart Voter page in question was supposed to be in draft mode but apparently it was published before being completed. I have been speaking to many people about endorsements and would be honored to have Mayor Pulido’s support, but he has not yet formally give me permission to use that endorsement. I asked Smart Voter yesterday to correct this but they are a volunteer organization and have yet to do so.
I do have the support of several elected officials, because they know that I have worked hard to support my community for many years. They know that, as a parent and teacher I will do a good job on the school board, and they are disregarding your lies altogether.
I expect by the way to pick up quite a few more endorsements from other elected officials in the next week, despite your ongoing efforts to stalk and malign me.
My advice to you is that you stop obsessing on me and get to work repairing your sinking blog. Have you looked at your readership numbers? You guys are killing the Liberal OC. It is quite sad to see this happen to what was once a good read.
Art, I have not libeled you. All statements made are completely true, including my conclusion that you are more unhinged than Rocco.
Your “draft mode” excuse does not hold water. especially since as an internet publisher you know better than to post someting in draft that is false, and more importantly to check and see if it has gone live.

As far as your assertion that posting that Pulido had endorsed you was a case of mistaken wishful thinking. Since that assertion is coming from you, a notorious distorter of facts, I wont believe it was a mistake on your part until Pulido makes that statement himself.
Art, you are a public figure, and there is no prohibition on maligning you with information that is true. Look up the definition of the word stalking. You are allegegly a teacher so you should have the basic skills to accomplish that. I have done nothing that meets that definition.
Maybe you should focus more on saving your home from impending forclosure, and complying with federal court orders, than running for School Board, making up endorsements, and what ever it is that you under the names Admin, Zorro, or Art Pedroza on the Orange Juice blog.
Chris, isn’t it ironic that Fart Pedroza was the biggest thorn in the little dictator’s side for years and all of a sudden when he wants to sit on a school board, for which he has absolutely no qualifications, he can’t kiss the mayor’s arse fast enough. He and that bloated blow-hard Seanny-boy are busy white-washing all of the Mayor’s misdeeds in an effort to further their own selfish interests. And a graduate degree from Keller is basically one step above cosmetology school.
Fart Pedroza’s antics are so transparent and utterly craven. He’s willing to sacrifice the future of his toilet bowl city in exchange for some lame school board seat. He’s a man with absolutely no convictions, and is clearly a hack.

Art if you think that an endorsement from the majorty of the seated council is meaningful, think again. Martinez is an appalling caricature of a politician, a joke. The fact that this council has sent HER as our representative to Sacremento and DC has raised the fury of many folks that had previously kept out of city politics. Feel free to mention her name often, it will be perfect to fan the flames of unrest among the residents who no longer will tolerate COSA business as usual
“draft form”? I’ve seen a lot of lame excuses from Pedroza before, but that’s right up there. What candidates submit the names of endorsements they WISH they had to voter info sites like SmartVoter? That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Pulido had endorsed Pedroza. How else to explain Pedroza’s sudden, slavish shilling for a guy he has crapper on for years?
As a reader of Orange Juice, I have been following with interest Art Pedroza’s recent political transformation.
Only a few years ago, he was campaigning against illegal immigrants and boasting of his endorsement for the Orange County Republican Central Committee by “Mexican hater” Lupe Moreno and the “wacko” California Republican Assembly. (http://www.smartvoter.org/2006/06/06/ca/or/vote/pedroza_a/).
Now Pedroza claims to be a supporter of the Dream Act and a “progressive” (but supports massive tax cuts for giant corporations and landlords and calls for an end to most government-provided social services).
This kind of sudden, extreme political and philosophical transformation would be plausible in a young college freshman, but not in a man in his 40s who has long been involved in politics.
I don’t believe that Pedroza has any political principles at all, just an ever-changing and often contradictory assortment of schemes, delusions and personal vendettas.
I believe the word you’re looking for is “venganza” which was the title of Art’s mid-November 2009 email to me telling me “it is on.”
Pedroza a progressive? How can someone who essentially supports trickle-down economics be a progressive? Trickle-down has been the economic bane of the poor under Reagan, then again under Bush. Don’t these people ever learn.
In addition, true progressives are peacemakers and uniters…not dividers. And they sure has hell don’t go around telling people that they’ll “break your f%$&ing neck” and “I’ll f%&k you up.”
For Pedroza, he does have the main qualification for the school board. He has children going to school in the district.
The OUSD survived Rocco, I don’t think Art can damage the SAUSD.

The top 10 percent of wage earners in the nation, your so called wealthiest, includes 90 percent of all employees of the County of Orange and about 80 percent of all the employees of the city of Santa Ana. Steve if you make a 100 grand a year you too can enjoy an extra 3 to 7 thousand dollar increase.

Away from the prick waving dick fight, I offer a simple question: Why has Mayor Pulido never been listed as an endorser on Pedroza’s own official fixthesausd.com page? Why would Pedroza put it on one site and not the other (his own official one at that!)This lends credence to his “draft” argument…
Now before anyone says anything, Pedroza has asked me to endorse his run. I haven’t decided yet. I don’t know enough about his ideas or the race. What I do know is when it comes to raza and education, there are three core issues for me…culturally relevant education, bilingual instruction and critical pedagogy. Anyone who espouses those ideals can welcome my support.

gabriel san roman. while i am sure that pudroza will attempt to convince you of his concern for cuturally relevant education and bilingual education as well as critical pedagogy, pudroza neither understands these concepts or actually gives a damn. hes not a teacher and hes never been one. hes just an unemployed guy that bounces from job to job while being unable to support a family. hes running to get medical benefits a paycheck and a pension.

I agree that Art Pedroza’s recent political transformation if anything is AMAZING!! He went after Lupe Moreno just recently for her involvement in the 4th of July event & to know that his “boasting of his endorsement for the Orange County Republican Central Committee” is priceless.
Karma will pay him back 10 fold & I hope to be around to see it.
