Although this event does not take place in Orange County, I thought it was important enough to pass along to all of you.
Celebrities, political leaders and members of all diverse cultural backgrounds will come together the night of Thursday, August 21st at an extravagant event to show their support for Sen. Barack Obama’s Presidential campaign.
Designed and coordinated by Los Angeles entertainment industry professionals, the “Black and White Gala for Barack Obama” will be a star-studded event focusing on raising funds for the Obama campaign while serving to bring together the local community.
The night will be one of luxury, with entertainment by some of the most prestigious artists in the world. The theme of the Gala will focus on celebrating diversity and promoting cultural awareness. Models representing a range of ethnic backgrounds, wearing the brightly colored costumes of their host nations, will mingle amongst guests dressed in black and white attire during an elegant cocktail reception.
