Walk for Paul, because he’d do it for you.

The Lucas for Assembly Campaign is organizing precinct walks in Garden Grove and Westminster every weekend until the election. They’ll be knocking on the doors of registered voters, regardless of their party.

If you’d like to come out and help Paul Lucas and support the campaign that will hopefully make Van Tran sweat a little on the brow, and bleed a little from his campaign coffers, meet at the office of Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez in Santa Ana at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday until Election day.

  1. Gimmie a break!! Paul Lucas is only concerned with himself and would have nothing to do with anyone if he wasn’t running for office. In fact, he already has the mindset of a politician when he hasn’t even won. Van Tran will blow him out of the water in November. Also, if there was a “R” behind his name you would be bad mouthing him.

  2. Do you know Paul Lucas? If you did you would know that Paul is one of the most considerate people in Orange County.

Paul has worked for several candidates and has worked with several Democratic groups well before he became a candidate.

And if Paul had an “R” after his name he would be the most progressive Republican I ever met.

Dont bad mouth people who are trying their best to increase Democratic turnout in a place where it is badly needed.

  3. I walked for Paul today, and I certainly don’t regret it!

He truly is one of the most considerate people in OC (kudos to devilsnightout for pointing that out), and he’s running in AD 68 because he actually cares about the people in AD 68.

Now if Paul was so “concerned with himself”, then why would he be running in AD 68 when he could be running for a more lucrative office (and easier job)?

  4. Anonymous 5:26, You must be Roland Chi, Troung Diep or some other van Tran cronie. Or is that Jubal again? Thank you for your kind owrds Andrew and Devilsnight out.
    Paul L

  5. oh and 12:07PM,
I challenege you to name ONE Republican and One Democrat, and One of any other party designation including someone who is not even registered to vote who will say they dont like me.

  6. Is it just me, or does the photo on this thread make Paul look like a bald guy with his hairpiece blowing off and falling into the surf?
    Not a flattering photo.
Paul’s hair, fyi, is in fact his own. Or so I’ve been told by reputable sources who claim to have first-hand knowledge.

  7. Anonymous 11:43,
Yes that is my hair. It was photoshoppped to make it look like it was standing up. If you read the article, My hair is spiky, and according to the author,I look like Beaker from the muppet show. At least I got friends that are close enough to take a jab at me in good humor, in a way that I can recognize it for what it is. You on the other hand tend to lean towards the cheap low life jabs from your computer in LA using a Pac Bell internet connection. Can anyone say GOP paranoia that a regular guy may topple their Vietnamese lap dog?

  8. Would he do it for me?
Something makes me doubt that. You see, Paul is one of those guys who is a team player only when he’s on the team.
Paul, please let us know which candidates/issues/campaigns you volunteered for and in what capacity (walk/phone/fundraise/other) BEFORE you became a candidate.
    Thanks.

  9. Candidate Lucas,
Dont bother answering Anon 6:54. That person is just trying to waste your time.

Anon 6:54, Mr. Lucas has worked for Joe Dunn, Loretta Sanchez, Young Democrat volunteer recruitment, 68th AD Committee, a frequent participant in DPOC events and helped with Surfrider. ALL BEFORE BEING A CANDIDATE.

Paul has walked, phoned and stuffed envelopes.
