Where’s the story?

Don’t get me wrong, I love watching righties chewing up and spitting out other rightes. Today alone I read three different articles about the Capo Unified “hit list” scandal:

  • The Orange County Register News Story
  • Frank Mickadeit’s Column
  • The Los Angeles Times News Story

There’s a lot of talk going on about James Fleming’s resignation—but I don’t see enough talk about the county registrar of voters breaking state law by letting district officials view signatures on recall petitions.

The state law says that signers of a recall petition shall stay anonymous. If the recall process is supposed to work properly, I need to know that I won’t be retaliated against if I sign a petition.

So I ask the local press: Where’s the real story here?
