She’s coming out of her garage

Art at the Orange Juice Blog wrote a post about The Orange County Supervisor seat in the 4th District (Anaheim, Buena Park, Placentia, La Habra, and Fullerton). Libertarian incumbent Chris Norby is upsetting some of the conservatives that have backed him in the past because of his support for Lynn Daucher and Marty Siminoff.

Art wrote:

Now Norby is facing a union-backed liberal, La Habra Council Member Rose Espinoza, and while she is having a tough time raising money, that isn’t stopping her from going on the attack. Today’s Times reports that Espinoza is slamming Norby for his stance on redevelopment (he didn’t help her to bring a new Costco to La Habra); failing to fix a park that was built over a landfill; and fighting bilingual ballots.

Rose hasn’t been too accessible lately, and that’s made people think that maybe she wasn’t serious about the run. But let’s give her a chance—she’ll be at the Uballe Residence (2618 Amherst Avenue, Fullerton) today from 3:00 – 5:00 for a Garden Party and Candidate Forum. 1. Rose is a real public servant who will be there for the contituants.

Norby is arrogant and seems to believe he is entitled to public office. For someone who is so anti-govenrment, he sure enjoys the perks and the pensions.
