BLM Pop-Ups Counter the Trump Pop-Ups

On the way to work this morning, a pop up caught my eye in Tustin causing me to do a swift U-turn. A Black Lives Matter booth opened up in the same parking lot as a Trump pop up.

So, I stopped and bought some stuff letting the guy who opened know what the Tustin Police told me a few weeks ago about not blocking the sidewalk and, if threatened, to call the police.  Because they have every right to be there.

Orange County being Orange County, two women running the store Monday night were hassled by various Kens and Karens.  The people running the stand should be recording video if it happens again today.  Readers, if you see more of these, let us know in the comments.

This pop-up in near the Exxon station at the corner of Irvine Blvd and Jamboree in Tustin.

Having a rather eventful morning with a blown out tire from debris on the freeway. Ended up at this exact Shell station (it’s not Exxon) and decided to say hello while waiting for AAA. I asked if it had been peaceful and she told me the lady working the booth yesterday was harassed by a man in a white van with a ladder hanging outside of it. “I’m going to burn this sh** down… I’m going to bring the oil can myself bi***” As she was sharing this with me the same man drove by! It was hard to hear with the noise from the car wash, but I heard enough. Still stunned by the level of hatred. We were so surprised by the fact that it was the same guy, we didn’t think to grab our phones and take a photo of his license plate. Whether addressing Trump or BLM, mask or no-mask, threats of violence should never be. Saddened by what people allow to come out of their mouths.
